GREYTOWN

EMERGENCY SCHEME UNITS NOW OPERATING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following units of the Emergency Precaution Scheme in Greytown have now commenced to function and the preliminary meetings have been held. The Medical and Nursing units have been somewhat disorganised owing to several who hold key positions being now on the staff of the Featherston Military Hospital. The Simply Committee has met and are completing their organisation. The Public Utility Committee have nearly completed a series of lectures by the District Health Officer. The Transport section is to meet during the coming week and matters in connection with the law and order section are under review.
