OBITUARY MR A. L. C. WILSON. (“Times-Age” Special.) The late Mr Arthur Leslie Clayton Wilson, headmaster of the Pahiatua District High School, who died at Pahiatua on Sunday, was born in Wellington and received his education in Feilding. His first appointment as head teacher was to the Eketahuna High School and two years ago he accepted the position as headmaster to the Pahiatua High School. The late Mr Wilson took a keen interest in sport and was a first-class referee both in Rugby and hockey. He was also a keen tennis enthusiast. Besides a widow he leaves two children, a daughter (Miss Jean Wilson, a teacher at Gladstone) and a son, Mr Maurice Wilson. During his term as headmasi ter of the local school Mr Wilson endeared himself to his pupils and made many friends by his kindly disposition. Representatives of the Eketahuna School. Committee, School staff and the eketahuna Sports Club were present at the service held in the Methodist Church, Pahiatua, yesterday. The funeral took place at Taihape yesterday afternoon.
