POLICY OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 15

Questioned in the House of Commons- regarding the status of French Somaliland, the Foreign Secretary, Mr Eden, said that in answer to a question on July 24 it was stated that the British Government had been obliged to take appropriate steps to ensure that the resources of French Somaliland were not placed at the disposal of enemies. To that statement he had at present nothing to add.
