PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr C. Evans, Mangamahoe, has returned home after having spent three months in the military hospital at Palmerston North. Miss Mavis Tildesley is among the V.A.D.’s who are on duty at Anzac Hall military hospital at Featherston. Victory Fair. The ladies in charge of the sewing and fancy stall at the Women’s Division' Victory Fair to be held in the Mauriceville hall will be Mesdames < Forsberg, Larsen and Trass. Many pretty and useful articles will be on sale. There will be a plentiful supply of “lucky bags” for men and women, and a bran-tub for boys and girls. The proceeds will be handed to the woollen comforts for the Mercantile Marine fund. The tea arrangements will be under the supervision of Mrs J. R. McArley and a capable committee.
