STOCK MARKET
BULL SALE. PRICES AT MASTERTON YESTERDAY. The Associated Auctioneers report having held a sale of bulls in the Colombo yards yesterday. There was»a good attendance. Most of the bulls were in backwood condition and this reflected on the prices. The better conditioned bulls sold wonderfully well. Mi 1 G. H. Perry’s consignment topped the market, two bulls making 70gns each; and his line of 15 bulls made the very satisfactory average of 43gns. Mr E. T. Wilton sold four bulls and averaged 35gns. The bulls offered on behalf of H. T. Hume Est. and R. R. Burling were not quite up in condition. The former averaged 22gns and the latter 20gns. The following are individual prices: On a/c of G. H. Perry, 2 at 70 gns, 56 gns, 45gns, 43gns, 2 at 42gns, 38gns, 2 at 37gns, 2 at 35gns, 34gns and 21gns; a/c E. T. Wilton, 38gns, 2 at 35gns, 30 gns; a/c Est. H. T. Hume, 30gns, 2 at 27gns, 26gns, 3 at 22gns, 3 at 17Jgns, 20 gns, 16gns, 2 at 15gns; a/c R. R. Burling, 30gns, 24gns, 2 at 21gns, 3 at 20 gns, 3 at 17’igns, 4 at 16gns.
