PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age"’ Special.) The Patriotic Committee held a card party on Saturday evening, when there was a good attendance. The first prizes at cards were won by Mrs Jewit’t and Mr Geof. Houlbrooke. The consolation prizes went to Mrs Geof. Houlbrooke and Mr E. Curtis. Dancing was indulged in until midnight. Lambing Percentages. Docking is in full swing now and so far reasonably good percentages are being reebrded, considering the bad weather that prevailed during the lambing period. Personal Items. Mrs Reg. Houlbrooke has returned home after having spent a few days in Eketahuna. Mrs Hislop has returned from a holiday spent in Wellington and Waverley.
