MARTINBOROUGH
SWIMMING CLUB 4 ' J- , ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Martinborough Amateur Life Saving and Swimming Club was held on Monday night. There was a large attendance. Mr C. W. Skill (president) was in the chair. The balance sheet showed a er. of £4 9s Id. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr C. W. Skill; vice-presidents, Messrs R. S. Baker, W. B. Martin, E. C. Sadd, P. Michael and members on active service; secretary and treasurer, Miss J. Grant; club captain, Mr L. J. Turner; vice-captain. Mr D. Duffy; ladies’ captain, Mrs S. Chapman; ladies’ vicecaptain, Miss P. Duffy; delegates to the Wairarapa Centre, Messrs Turner and F. Duffy; handicappers, Messrs Lynch and F. Duffy; timekeepers, Messrs Mahill and .Wilton; starter, Mr Skill; cheek starters, Messrs Hamilton, Baker and Meiklejohn; judges, Messrs Knell, Parsons and Amos; call stewards, Messrs Beveridge, Parsons and BlisseTt; ladies’ stewards. Mesdames Chapman, Caseley, and Blackall. Votes of thanks passed to the secretary and the outgoing officers terminated the meeting.
