PAHIATUA SALE LATE RATES MAINTAINED. The Associated Auctioneers report on their Pahiatua sale as follows: A small yarding of sheep, dairy cattle and pigs came forward, and were offered to a medium attendance of the public. A total clearance was effected at auction, at late rates. Quotations: Dairy cows in milk, £l4 to £9 ss; springing cows, £lO, £9 15s to £8 10s; springing heifers (medium quality), £7 2s 6d to £7; empty heifers, £4 10s; empty cows, £4 6s, £4 to £3 15s; fat cows, £6 10s and £5. Sheep: 2-th ewes and lambs, all counted, 17s 9d; fat wethers, 295; w. hoggets (good), 225; empty ewes, 9s 9d. Pigs: Slips (good), 22s 6d, weaners, 16s to 13s.
