HOUSE PROPERTIES A MILD BOOM. ("Times-Age” Special.) There is a mild boom in house properties and several buildings in the township have changed hands recently. The new owner of the old Bank of Australasia building has had it converted into an up-to-date tenement. Workmen are engaged in making alterations to the Wairarapa Trading Co’s, building. A property in Waite Street belonging to Mr A. Peene, Senr., has been sold, and the drapery store occupied by Mr Saba has been purchased by Mr J. Saba from Mr H. Buck. Personal Items. »The many friends of Mrs Juno, Pahautea, will regret to learn that she is an inmate of the Greytown Hospital. Mr A. Peene, Senr., Napier, is’visiting his son, Mr Alf Peene, Fox Street. Sheep Judging Competition. In the sheep judging competition held on Saturday at the Featherston Football' Club’s gathering, Mrs I. Thurston and R. Palliser shared the prize, each with 421bs, the correct weight being 41Jlbs.
