IN ITALIAN ATTACK ON GIBRALTAR. DENIAL OF ENEMY CLAIM. LONDON. September 23. A special Italian communique claimed that three large ships (including two tanker) had been sunk and another driven ashore in a raid on Gibraltar. It is learnt in London that the report is yet another exaggeration. The facts are that the attack resulted in the sinking of one hulk.
