KING OF THE HELLENES & MINISTERS FIGHT TO BE CARRIED ON TO END. LONDON CALLED CAPITAL OF FREE PEOPLES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 22. On their arrival at a northern British port this morning King George of Greece and the Crown Prince weie welcomed by the Duke of Gloucestei and local civic and service authorities. A naval guard of honour was provided. The Greek Prime Minister. M. Tsouderos, the Minister of Finance, M. Varvarpessos, and the Minister of Laboui, M. Demitratos, accompanied the King. Princesses Aspasia and Alexandria were also in the party. IVf Tsouderos said: “We are extremely happy to find ourselves here among British people. Wo intend to carry on to the very end of this terrific’ struggle.” He added that he did not know how long they were staying. They would be pleased to be able to go to London, “as London is the capital not only of Britain and the Empire but of all’freedom-loving people.” The King of Greece and the members of his Cabinet were met on their arrival at London by the King and Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, Mr Churchill, Mr Eden and other members of Cabinet and the Chief of the Imperial General Staff.
