IN FRANCE & CROATIA GERMAN TERRORISM. ALLEGATIONS OF SABOTAGE. (By Telegraph—-Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. September 23. Fifty men were sentenced to death in Croatia last Friday. They were described as Jews and Communists and as the “intellectual perpetrators" of sabotage activities. The Germans have shot three more Frenchmen, this time at Lille. A statement issued by the German military headquarters at Lille said the sentence of death pronounced' on three French-) men had been carried out by firing squads. They were described as Communists guilty of the crime of carrying out explosions and arson. The German news agency has reported from Paris that four more people have been sentenced to death and several have been given imprisonment terms.
