MEEHAN AND SINGH DRAW
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 22.
A professional wrestling contest between Pat Meehan, America, and Jaget Singh, India, resulted in a draw, each man obtaining a fall. Singh gained the first fall in the fourth round with a submission to his Indian deathlock. Meehan evened the falls in the seventh round with a body press after he had connected to his opponent’s chin twice in succession with drop-kicks. It was a bright and spectacular bout.
