The B teams were the first to play and the spectators were treated to a good fast game. Mr Cathie, in addressing the teams, said it was the .first time in the history of the firms of Cathie and Sons that any of their teams had played interhouse games. He hoped that it would bo the beginning of several more such contests. He then called on Mrs Noel Cathie to present the shield to the captain of the Wellington team who would hold, it for the next year. Special thanks were extended to Miss Joan Gemmell and Mr'R. Costello fm- the assistance they had given to the Masterton teams in connection with coaching and refereeing.
