MAURICEVILLE
* RED CROSS SOCIETY MAURICEVILLE SUB-CENTRE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The members of the Mauriceville Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society have been actively engaged in various duties associated with the objects of the Society. Many garments (knitted and sewn) have been completed for the relief of distress. Though frequent meetings have been held, members of the Centre find it more convenient to carry out the work in their respective homes, owing to the benzine restrictions. Home Guard. At the Home Guard parade on Tuesday there was a fair attendance, and useful manoeuvres were carried out.
