FOR BREAKFAST
SCALLOPED SWEETCORN. Mix 1 large tin sweetcorn, 2 tablespoons flour, salt and pepper to taste, 4 tablespoons top milk, and, if liked, a little sugar. Melt one tablespoon margarine in a pan. add 1 cup breadcrumbs, and cook a little. Line an ovenproof dish with half the crumb mixture, add mixture and cover with remaining crumbs. Sprinkle shredded bacon over top and bake in a moderate oven until bacon is crisp and brown.
