BASKETBALL
WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. SEASON TO END ON SATURDAY. Next Saturday will see the end of the basketball season in the Wairarapa. It is proposed to hold a six-a-side tournament. The teams will be selected on the grounds.' A representative player will be put in charge of each team. The competition closed with Stars I. as winners of the A grade, and Masterton Hospital of the B grade. The runnersup were Collegians I. and Carterton, respectively.
