CHRISTMAS FARE
» FOR EMPIRE SOLDIERS IN ENEMY PRISON CAMPS. DISPATCH OF HAMPERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, September 10. Every British and Empire soldier in German or Italian prison camps will receive a Christmas hamper this year, reports the "Daily Mail.” Each hamper will contain a Christmas pudding, stuffed roast pork, a steak and tomato pudding, chocolate, jam. margarine, tea and biscuits. The prisoners' cigarette and tobacco ration during Christmas week will be doubled.
