CAR GOES OVER BANK STAFF SERGEANT KILLED. WIFE RESIDES AT FEATHERSTON. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, September 7. A staff-sergeant at Waiouru military camp was killed on Saturday night when a car in which he was travelling went over a 15-foot bank on the Tai-hape-Napier road. He was George Wyeth, aged 32, married. In company with three other soldiers he had been visiting Taihape, and on the return journey took the Napier road by mistake. Mrs ‘Wyeth lives at Featherston.
