KIATERE CLUB CARTER-SCRIMSHAW TROPHY. HANDICAPS ANNOUNCED. Senior runners of the Kiatere Harrier Club will compete for the CarterScrimshaw Trophy on Saturday, starting from the Solway Showgrounds at 2.30 p.m. This will be an open handicap race over 6} miles and the handicaps are as follow:—W. MacDonald scr; W. Burgess, R. Greeks, Imin.; L. Frances, H. MacDonald, Imin. 30sec.; W. Teahan, 2min. 30sec.; R. Thomson. lOmin. The junior runners will hold an open handicap race over 3J miles for a trophy presented by one of the club's supporters. The handicaps are as follow: — N. Jacobsen, scr.; G. Hayes, 10 sec.; -N. Dickel, 50sec.; S. Pickett. Imin. 30sec.; K. Greaves, 2min. 30sec.; I. Summers, 3min.; A. Pickett, 3min. 30 see.; C. Summers, smin.; D. Cunningham, Bmin. The weekly training run will be held tonight.
