PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of members of the Plunket Society there vjere present Mesdames Blundell (in the chair), Kershaw, Pain, Chapman, Mason, Griffiths, Knell, Roper, Blathway, Sievers, Ward, and Miss M. C. Martin (secretary)-. 1 The nurse reported that work during the past two months had proceeded satisfactorily. Thanks were expressed to Mr and Mrs Blundell for children’s table and toys for the children’s “play corner” at the rooms. Mesdames Blundell and W. B. Martin were appointed voting delegates at the conference to be held in Wellington. Feeling reference was made to the sudden death of Miss Hoddinott, Dominion and administrative secretary. Enjoyable Gathering. On Friday evening a large gathering took place at the Town Hall in honour of Private Gordon Colman and Airman Neil McKay. The Mayor (Mr C. R. Holmes) presented the guests of honour with a gift. Messrs N. H. Thomas and H. Hardinge also added their good wishes. Private Colman suitably replied.
