CHURCH SERVICES
The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. W. T. Blight, of Feilding. The subject at the morning service will be “The Four Horsemen 'of the Apocalypse” and in the evening “The Greatest Pow r ei- in the World.” The evening service at Kuripuni will be conducted by Mr Eric Steer. The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church on Sunday and at Solway on Thursday will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie. There will be a community sing before the evening service.
Tomorrow morning, at the Y.M.C.A. rooms, the fourth anniversary of the Baptist Fellowship will be celebrated. The service at 11 a.m. will be conducted by the Rev. P. F. Lanyon, secretary of the Baptist Denomination of New Zealand. This service will be the last before commencing on September 1 an experimental move of joining forces with the members of the local Church of Christ. The two churches in Masterton will meet in future for morning and evening services under the title of the Associated Church (Baptist-Church cf Christ). The 57th anniversary services of the Salvation Army on Sunday will be conducted by Brigadier A. Miles.. In the evening Brigadier Miles will give an address on his experiences in England, under war conditions. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Matthew’s Church, Masterton, at 8 am tomorrow The Rev H. Taepa will be the preacher at 11 a.m. and Archdeacon Rich at 7 p.m. The Rev. H. Taepa will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni.
