GREYTOWN
PERSONAL ITEMS VISITORS TO THE DISTRICT. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr J. Fuller, of Christchurch, has / been visiting relatives in Greytown. Mr and Mrs G. S. Maloney, of McMaster Street, are spending a holiday in Palmerston North. Mrs Maitland and family, of Wadestown, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. J. Knell, West Street. A number of visitors have arrived to spend the weekend with relatives and friends in the district. Returned Soldiers’ Dance. The Greytown Returned Soldiers’ Association will hold a dance and card party in the Morison’s Bush Hall on Monday next. There will be a number of trophies to be competed for, such as a ham, a lamb, and a sucking pig, all having been donated by members. The music will be supplied by Udy’s Orchestra, and as the floor is in its usual excellent order, patrons can be assured of spending an enjoyable time.
