PRIMARY SCHOOLS CONTESTS. WANGANUI AND RANGITIKEI WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, August 27. The primary schools quadrangular Rugby tournament at Wanganui resulted: —'Wanganui beat Wairarapa, 9-5; Wellington and Manawatu drew, 3-3. Wanganui won the championship. The tournament at Marton resulted: Rangitikei beat Horowhenua, 5-3, Taranaki beat Hutt Valley, 9.0. Rangitikei won the championship.
