HARRIERS

KIATERE CLUB EVENTS. The members of the Kiatere Harrier Club will hold a friendly run on Saturday, starting from the Solway showgrounds at 2.30 p.m. As the CarterScrimshaw Trophy is to be run for the following week, runners should keep up their training. The first four senior runners are very close for the handicap points trophy, the S. L. Rutherford Trophy, the points being as follow: W. Teahan 21, L. Frances 19, W. MacDonald 18, W. Burgess 18. In the junior section the points for the points prize trophy are as follow: S. Pickett 35, A. Pickett 33, N. Jacobsen 31, G. Hayes 29, N. Dickel 23. The weekly training run will be held tonight at 7 o’clock, weather permitting.
