RUGBY FOOTBALL
WAIRARAPA v WELLINGTON. LOCAL TEAM SELECTED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following Wairarapa team has been chosen by the sole selector (Mr Keith Reid) to play against Wellington at Carterton on Saturday next. Those selected will attend practice on the Carterton Showgrounds on Thursday evening:—Backs: C. Jensen, Colquhoun, Thompson, Playle, Mahupuku, O’Kane, Sugrue, Warrington; forwards, K. Joblin, Butteress, A. Mathieson, H. Mathieson, Conwell, Desmond, Howard, Walker, Hood Blake. This is the same team that' played against Wellington a fortnight ago. Sugrue and O’Kane will not be available for any further games that may be played, as both will go into camp next week to train with the Air Force.
