FAST & OPEN RUGBY

WAIRARAPA COLLEGE TEAM GIVES GOOD DISPLAY.

Playing in the quadrangular intercollege Rugby tournament in the Hutt Valley, the Wairarapa College team, in both its games, made a reputation for fast, open play. Yesterday, when Wairarapa defeated Scots College by 13 points io three, Wairarapa’s passing rushes were both spectacular and successful. They gave a good display throughout. ■ ■ Tries for Wairarapa College were scored by Daniell, Simpson and Nahkies, two of which wore converted by Stevens. The Wairarapa team returned home last night. Further reference to the tournament appears on page 3.)
