GREYTOWN
SOLDIER HONOURED GUNNER G. MONTGOMERIE. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a gathering of the staff of the Greytown dairy factory Gunner Gordon Montgomerie was the guest oi honour. In making a small presentation to Gunner Montgomerie, Mr Kearney stated that their guest had always been willing to help in any circumstances and often at the shortest notice. Messrs H. A. McPhee and W. Billman also spoke in a eulogistical strain and wished him the best of luck. Gunner Montgomerie and his father, Mr J. Montgomerie, suitably replied. Personal Items. Mr F. Dewhirst has returned to Greytown after having attended the Heme Guard School of Instruction at Palmerston North. Private Noel Wallace is at present on leave from the Trentham camp.
