THE LATEST BALLOT CALL

WELLINGTON, This Day.
A total of 4431 men, comprising classes BI and C of the First Division of the General Reserve, are called up for service with the Territorial Force in a “Gazette" issued last night. This is the tenth ballot. The numbers of men selected from the various military areas are as follows:—Military Area No. 1 (Auckland) 644, No. 2 (Paeroa) 250, No. 3 (Whangarei) 235. No. 4 (Hamilton) 238, No. 5 (Wellington) 459, No. 6 (Wanganui) 325, No. 7 (Napier) 384, No. 8 (New Plymouth) 209, No. 9 (Nelson) 356, No. 10 (Christchurch) 629, No. 11 (Dunedin) 376, No. 12 (Invercargill) 326.
