PRODUCTS FROM WASTE

EXHIBITION IN MASTERTON NEXT MONTH.

An interesting display is to be exhibited in Masterton during the first week in September. It will include a comprehensive collection of waste materials —non-ferrous metals, paper and other scrap —and a wide variety of goods made from them.

The exhibition has aroused much interest in other centres. In Wellington as many as 20,900 people inspected the display. Mr H. P. Hugo has offered to give a prize of 2gns. in connection with the local display and has also offered to make space available in his premises for the exhibition.

A meeting of the local committee is to be held tomorrow afternoon to make arrangements fo the display.
