DISTRICT FORECAST: Moderate westerly to southerly winds, possibly freshening, again tomorrow. Weather mainly fair but some rain probable in the south; temperatures cool with some frosts tonight.
FURTHER OUTLOOK: Fair.
LOCAL REPORTS. Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.04. Shade temperature: Maximum 46.9, minimum 33, terrestrial 23.3. Sunshine, 6 hours. Rain. i point. Frost. 7.1 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 2 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
