KNOX CHURCH

LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD. INTERESTING ADDRESS. The monthly meeting of Knox ladies’ Social Guild was held at the residence of Mrs C. H. McKenzie in Renall Street, Masterton, there being an excellent attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Speedy, Cooper and Corskie. A very interesting address was given by Mrs Barren on her trip to London: The competition was won by Mrs Dickel with Mrs Wright second. The musical programme consisted of solos by Mrs Ogilvy, a violin solo by Miss Eileen McKenzie and a piano solo by Miss Sheila McKenzie. A hearty vote of thanks was, on the motion of the Rev. J. Davie, passed to Mrs McKenzie for the use of her home and to Mrs Welch, who assisted her as hostess.

A very successful bring and buy was held.
