LADIES’ AUXILIARY.
MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS.
At the monthlj r meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A., held in the Y.M.C.A. lounge room, there was a good attendance of members. Mrs H. E. Pither presided.
The treasurer's report showed a very satisfactory bank balance. A report was submitted in connection with the card parties. The next tournament will be held on August 28 at 7.45 p.m.
A children’s plain and fancy dress party will be held in the Y.M.C.A. on Friday, August 22, at 7 p.m. The question of holding a spring fair was discussed, the date suggested being October 17.
A most successful bring-and-buy stall was held. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Gaze and Henderson.
