CAUSED 'BY SEVERE STORM IN CHILE RAILWAY & OTHER SERVICES DISRUPTED. NUMBER OF TOWNS FLOODED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.15 a.m.) SANTIAGO (Chile), August 13. A severe storm, which raged in Central Chile for seven days, killed 40 persons and seriously disrupted traffic. Thousands of railway passengers are temporarily stranded and scores of bridges are down or damaged. Telephone and telegraphic lines and nine railroads have suspended their services because of snow and rock slides. Parts of the main railway are covered by 200 feet of snow. Tracks are torn up at many points and towns arc flooded, including San Fernando.
