FURTHER BLOWS
STRUCK IN MEDITERRANEAN AREA ITALIAN CHEMICAL WORKS BOMBED. RAIDS ON ENEMY BASES IN LIBYA. LONDON. August 13. More damaging attacks have been made by the R.A.F. in the Mediterranean. A chemical works in Southern Italy received a direct hit and further damage was done in various bases in Libya. One machine is missing from all these operations. RAID ON CYPRUS ONE PERSON KILLED & THREE INJURED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.25 a.m.) RUGBY, August 13. One person was killed, and three were slightly injured in an air raid this morning in the neighbourhood of Cyprus. __________
