TINUI
COMING OF AGE PARTY ENJOYABLE GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Saturday evening Mr and Mrs S. O'Hara entertained about 90 guests at the Tinui Hall to celebrate the 21st birthday of their daughter. Nancy. Visitors were present from Wellington, Martinborough and Masterton. An enjoyable time was spent in dancing to music supplied by Mr W. Percy. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr M. Corlett and Miss D. O'Brien and songs were sung by Mr B. Buckeridge. The guest of honour who wore a frock of leaf green taffeta trimmed with a darker shade of velvet, with velvet bolero, received a large number of beautiful gifts. The toast of the King was proposed by Mr A. Schofield and that of Miss O’Hara by Mr E. Schofield. Miss O’Hara replied in a few well-chosen words. The key of the door was presented by Mr O’Hara to his daughter, and was later autographed by the guests.
