golf match ROTOTAWAI v. PIRINOA. (“Times-Age” Special.) A match was played yesterday between the Rototawai and Pirinoa clubs,, the results being as follows (Rototawai players being mentioned first in each instance): —D. C. Collins and B. Feast beat McMaster and J. Rewai, W. Pope and B. Bidwill lost to Herangi and Thomas. R. Elbe and A. Juno lost. to G. Sutherland and Waiuria, G. Griffiths and R. Pearce lost to Tikeo and H. Hume, Mrs and Miss Collins halved with Misses J. G. Carter and J. Carter, Mrs Pope and Mrs Feast lost to Misses K. Waiuria and W. Chatteris, Miss E. Collins and Miss K. Bargh beat Mrs Herangi and Mrs Sutherland, Mi's Elbe beat Mrs Warren. Gum Grove Results. The following were the best cards banded in in connection with the competition held on Saturday on the Gum Grove links:—-A. McNamara, 96-24-72; H. McCarty, 88-15-73; H. Bloxam, 87-13-74; W. Rowles, 79-3-76; H. Lovegrove, 92-16-76; H. Neilson, 92-16-76; J. McCallum, 86-10-76; A. Hoby, 93-15-78; L. Benton, 95-16-79; D. Carlyon. 98-18-80. In addition, the following medal championships were played: Senior: W. Rowles beat J .McCallum, W. Jeffrey beat Roy Donald. Junior: H. Neilson beat Dr. Sharp, H. Lovegi’ove beat L. Benton, H. McCarty beat D. Carlyon, J. W. Card beat lan Donald. Personal. Pilot Ken Schou and Mrs Schou, who have been the guests of Mrs Jeffrey, were entertained at a social gathering at Feathei'ston, when Pilot Schou was presented with a leather-bound autograph album. Young Farmers’ Club Dance. The Young Farmers’ Club held a very successful dance in the Anzac Hall on Saturday night. The duties of MG. were carried out by Mr Chas. Buck. The music was supplied by Udy’s Orchestra. The lucky spot dance was won by Mr I. Feast and Miss Cole. Supper was provided by a capable ladies’ committee.
