PATRIOTIC CARD PARTY ELECTION OF DOMAIN BOARD MEMBERS. ("•Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the patriotic card party held at the weekend. The first prizes were won by Mrs Wallis and Mr Hansen, the consolation prizes going to Mrs Hislop and Mr Mervyn Raleigh. After the euchre party a public meeting was held to elect two members on the Domain Board, in place of Messrs L. Houlbrooke and R. Robbie, who have left the district. The members elected were Messrs Reg. Houlbrooke and H. Seymour. Messrs G. Curtis. H. Hansen and G. Hart were elected hall trustees for the ensuing year. Football. The Tiraumea football team was defeated by 8 points to nil by Pongaroa at Pongaroa in a Russell-Bunn Cup contest. Hockey. The Coast ladies’ hockey team defeated the Tiraumea ladies.’ team on Saturday by 4 goals to 2.
