The following are the results of the games played in the fourth round ol the Keltie Buttons competitions:— Senior: Mrs Gold 84-16-68—3 points; Mrs Jury 88-18-70, 2; Mrs Mead 90-17-73, 1; Miss O. Nix 85-12-73, 1. Junior: Mrs Gregor 108-36-72, 3 points; Miss B. Gregor 108-32-76, 2; Miss Wood 114-36-78, 1. Nine hidden holes trophy: Mrs Read 41-9-32. Mr Keltie’s trophy for runner-up: Senior, Mrs Gold 42-8-34; junior, Mrs Gregor 53-18-35. Plunket Society Bridge Party. The Plunket Society’s bridge party yesterday afternoon was well attended. The winner of the flowers was Mrs A. Stuart. The hostesses were Mesdames F. C. Bunny and W. Wiggins. Croquet Club Meeting. The Greytown Croquet Club held a meeting at the Memorial Park Kiosk on Monday afternoon, when Mrs H. G. Carter presided. It was reported that the card party held recently had been most successful. Arrangements were made to hold a social gathering at Mrs J. Brunton’s residence in Main Street. Personal. Miss Hill was a weekend visitor to Wellington. Home Guard. The Headquarters Company (specialists) will parade at the Crown Theatre this evening. Lady Galway Sewing Guild. The members of the Battersea.branch of the Lady Galway Sewing Guild continue to meet regularly and are doing excellent work. At the Red Cross Society's depot at Greytown a display of the garments made by members of the branch is attracting favourable comment.
