RATION CARDS
DROPPED BY THE R.A.F. IN GERMANY. FACSIMILES CLEVERLY EXECUTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON. July 30. The Berlin correspondent, of the Zurich newspaper “Die Tat” says that the R.A.F.. in addition to dropping clothing cards, as reported recently, has been dropping large numbers of German meat cards and petrol cards in Germany. Meat Cards were dropped in Munster, where pedestrians in the early morning picked them up with “fitting enthusiasm." Several arrests have been made. The facsimiles are too cleverly done for laymen to detect any difference between them and genuine cards.
