HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KIATERE CLUB.
TRAINING RUN ON SATURDAY.
On Saturday members of the Kiatere Harrier Club took part in a training run, the seniors covering the 3J miles course twice while the juniors ran one. The captain, W. Macdonald, instrructed the runners to pair off and help each other along and this was ably demonstrated by the captain, who is now coming back to form and should give a good account of himself at the Provincial Championships next week. L. Frances, Al MacDonald and W. Teahan also ran good races. In the juniors N. Jacobsen lead the field home. The way this young runner is performing at present should enable him to be well up ip the junior championship at Wellington. G. Hayes also ran well as did S. Pickett and N. Dickel.
