STONEHENGE LODGE

MEETING IN MASTERTON LAST NIGHT. A meeting of Stonehenge No. 1 Lodge was held in Masterton last night. A.D. Bro. A. G. Swinn presided over a good, attendance of members. Sick pay and accounts for £ll 3s 9d were passed. One member was declared off the sick fund and the bards reported on the progress of other sick brethren. Four'new members were elected and were welcomed by P.A. Bro. W. R. Pawson. A report on the fortnightly lodge dance showed that it was the most successful to date. Each function had surpassed its predecessor as a social gathering. Thanks were again expressed to Mrs C. C. Whilmshurst and the ladies’ committee and other members who assisted. At the conclusion of the meeting, supper was served and a community sing and indoor bowls were enjoyed.
