RECEIVED COLDLY
MINISTERIAL CHANGES IN BRITAIN FURTHER ACTION EXPECTED. 1 PERSISTENT CRITICISM. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 22. It is expected that Mr Churchill will shortly announce further Cabinet changes, including the appointment of Ministers of Production and Civil Defence. CriticistjH of the limited nature of the recent Cabinet changes persists in all quarters. Mr A. J. Cummings, writing in the “News Chronicle" reflects the tone of general comment when he says: “The Ministerial changes leave me stone cold, and I doubt if the public pulse beats any more actively. The Prime Minister shifts men about like pawns on a chessboard. Then, having had his fun. he returns to the job of trying to perform half a dozen tasks off his own broad willowy bat."
