SOLDIERS’ PARCELS DONATIONS ACKNOWLEDGED. (“Times-Age” Special.) Donations towards procuring sol-' diers’ parcels are acknowledged from Mesdames Tully, Gold, Burch, York, and Roband, Misses Feast and Harding, Messrs B. Roberts, M.P., and T. Gold. Personal Items. Mr F. Dennes has returned to Greytown from Christchurch. The friends of Mr W. Perry, of McMaster Street, will be pleased to learn that he is now making steady improvement in health. Misses Dulcie Richards, Fay Skeet, and Smith, all of the Grey town Hospital staff, are at present inmates of the fever - ward of the Masterton Public Hospital. Red Cross Society’s Dance. The Greytown sub-centre of the Red Cross Society will hold a dance in the Odd Fellows’ Hall on July 19. The proceeds will be in aid of the depot and V.A.D. equipment fund. This organisation is doing excellent work and it is expected that this function will be well patronised. Hockey Team. The Scouts hockey team to play Dalefield at Greytown at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday will be: I. Trotman, R. Jury, D. Ross. R. Gallon, J. Eccles, P. Anker, P. Brabender, W. Trotman, F. Skeet, R. Day, P. Farrell. The following Is the College Old Girls’ hockey team to play College at Lansdowne, at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow: — M. Nyhan, J. Miller, M. Phillips, E. McGovern, P. Dixbn, T. Davis, N. Wilson, R. Chorley, J. Cairns, J. Mansen, W. Nyhan.
