EMPIRE SCHEME
SIX MONTHS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE TRAINING IN FULL BLAST IN CANADA. BRITISH AND AMERICAN RECRUITS Crews to man the ever-rising strength of the R.A.F. are now training in thousands, states the Canadian Air Minister, who added that the Empire training scheme was six months ahead of schedule. Eighty-five out of every 100 units were going at full blast. Men from all parts of the British Commonwealth and many from the United States were being trained in Canada and were fighting, too. great service. He paid a warm tribute to his predecessor, Lord Beaverbrook, who had sped up production so well that no attack could stop the production of British machines. Every accessory was produced in duplicate, and in four or five different towns.
