IMPENDING BRITISH AIR ATTACKS WILL FAR EXCEED WORST RAIDS ON LONDON. MINISTER'S PREDICTION. LONDON. July 10. A promise of still greater striking power by the R.A.F. was given in the House of Commons by Lieut.Colonel Moore-Brabazon, Minister of Aircraft Production, who said it would not be many months before the worst raids on London would be child's play compared with the raids Britain would be able to make on Berlin. Answering criticism that Britain should concentrate on one type of heavy bomber instead of three, Lieut.Coolnel Moore-Brabazon said the 1 . United States thought it had the biggest machine in the world, but when they came over here they found that Britain had three machines much bigger than any they had seen in their country. Liberator machines were already doing.
