OBITUARY
MRS JAMES LENNIE. An old and respected resident of the Wairarapa, Mrs James Lennie, passed away in the. Masterton Hospital last evening. The late Mrs Lennie was born at Cherry Bank, Perthshire, Scotland, and was in her 61st year. She came to New Zealand 40 years ago and settled in the Whareama district, where she resided for twenty years and since* then had farmed a property known as “Linnlea” on the Opaki Road. She is survived by her husband, three sons. Mr J. R. Lennie (Opaki), Driver H. M. Lennie (Middle East) and Private W. S. Lennie (missing in Greece). The funeral will leave the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., tomorrow, following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
