Increase in Price of Petrol.
An increase of Id a gallon in the price of petrol comes into force today, according to regulations gazetted last night. Advances in overseas prices and in freight rates are stated to be responsible for Id of the increase. The other Id is to recoup oil companies for the cost of certain essential war protection for storage tanks,
