BETWEEN PACIFIC COAST & AUSTRALIA MATSON LINERS & DANISH SHIPS. STRATEGICALLY IMPORTANT RUN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 8. The New York “Journal of Commerce” states that two Danish ships, the Nordhval and Nordpol, together with three new Mutson liners, the Hawaiian Planter, Hawaiian Shipper and Hawaiian Merchant, will constitute a speedy service on the strategically important run between the Pacific coast and Australia. It is understood that the Matson Line's subsidiary, the Oceanic Steamship Company, will be taking over and controlling the Aus-tralia-Pacific trade. The offices of the Union Line in America, Australia and New Zealand will act as agents.
