DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge of Druids was held in Masterton last night. A. D. Bro. A. G. Swinn presided over a good attendance of members. The balance sheet and accounts for the year of the Wairarapa Hospital Association were received. Bros. C. N. Cole and A. W. Pike were elected as lodge delegates to the annual meeting to be held on Thursday, July 24. A clearance was granted to Bro. H. Pring. The Bards reported on sick members and sick pay and accounts totalling £24 10s lid were passed. Ten honorary members were elected and welcomed into the lodge. Bro. W. R. Pawson reported that the dance held for the purpose of providing benefits for members on active ser-

vice was the most successful to date, the hall being filled to capacity. The committee was congratulated on the success achieved and it was decided to acknowledge the lodge’s indebtedness to several supporters and well wishers. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served and indoor bowls and other entertainments were held.
